Zevillage: Remote working in Africa with Afriworkers

Florent Youzan is a computer scientist and entrepreneur from Côte d’Ivoire. Despite the recent period of political unrest (at the time of the interview, Florent had been confined to his home for fifteen days), he has just launched Afriworkers, a directory of African teleworkers.

Florent is convinced that remote work is an opportunity for Ivorians and, more broadly, for Africans—providing remote access to assignments they cannot find in their own countries.

He is preparing other projects, particularly events aimed at raising awareness among the business community in his country about the benefits of remote work.
